Jay Tavernese has called the lively world of artist management and marketing home for 15+ years, striving to bring bands to the forefront of their genre. His dedication to artist development, touring, merchandising and branding is noted as one of his many strengths in the business.
After earning his bachelor’s degree in Music Industry from the State University of New York at Oneonta in 1999, he joined the team at Concrete Management who represented metal heavyweights Pantera and Ministry. He went on to promoting hardcore and metal shows all over New York City at famous venues such as CBGB or The Wetlands, to managing several cult post hardcore stalwarts, Hopesfall and Haste, to his current client roster of 10 Years, Otherwise, Painted Wives and Lansdowne.
It is known that Jay has been named as one of the catalysts to have broke the widely known band “In This Moment” on their highly successful album “Blood” selling over 400,000 copies and having over 10 million views on youtube for the singles “Blood”, “Adrenalize” and “Whore”.
